Scraps is without wisdom but has keen eyes to see what is important without actually understanding it. The traditional trump shows a man with a stick and a bindle. A dog is biting at the seat of his pants which is causing him to look back and not notice the cliff ahead. Will looking at the dog cause him to fall off the cliff? Will stopping to take care of the dog situation cause him to not fall off the cliff? It is unknown. He is either doomed or saved by folly. This trump is not numbered so that the next trump is not number 22.

The traditional trump shows winds blowing from the four directions upon a female figure dancing within a boundary. It represents the influences of the Matrix, the Extelligence which is what makes up most of our personalities, our skills, knowledges and desires. It is as if we are fish in water where the currents carry us around and only by learning that we are beings subject to invisible influences can we learn to perceive them and go where we wish to go rather than where the current takes us.
