Tho is the process of bringing action back on action. Of turning an attack back upon itself. The traditional picture is a girl holding the mouth of a lion shut. She does not overcome the strength of the lion with her own strength, but does so with the strength of the lion. Think Jiujitsu, Judo, Aikido. The use of yielding to turn the strength of the attacker back on itself. The Cowardly Lion makes a good choice for this not only because he is a lion, but because he has true courage. Though extremely fearful, he turns the fear back on itself and acts as if he were brave. In that way he not only conquers his opponent but also conquers himself.

For years it was thought that the Native Americans working the high iron in New York city were completely unafraid of heights. Turns out they're just as afraid of heights as anybody else. What they are is warriors. They act as if they are unafraid and when the iron work is done they count coup on it. So to speak.

The traditional picture looks like a man hanging upside down from a cross bar with one leg crossed over the other and his hands behind his back. What he is, is the upside down reflection of a cross bar dancer that would be on top of the bar doing various gymnastic feats.

Da is the counterpart or reflection of another. Jack is a stylized skeleton with a stylized skull for a head. He considers himself to be Ozma's son and she his father. Nice bit of reversals and reflections there.
