1 YHWH is read by Blavatsky's Ebionites as
/yaho:wa:/ which they take to be the Hebrew of "continuing reflexive
causal of the verb 'to be' ", that is, "that which causes existence
to come back upon itself", that is, "The Recursioner". They consider Recursion per se to be potential rather than active. Recursion becomes active and the world is created when God activates Recursion. They consider that Recursion is what God does. Thus God does not need to be omnipotent nor omnipresent nor omnibenevolent nor any of the other omnis that philosophers limit Him by, but is better than all of those put together. 2 The whole of their morality and ethics is summed up in "potentializing evil and not preferentializing good" To honor any of the determinants as if they were
Recursion is to preferentialize good as they are all merely partial aspects of
Recursion. 3 To lift up the name of God, which is The
Recursioner, is to carry out Recusion. They see the world as a partnership
between God and Humankind. God maintains the world in a state of Recursion in
which all natural things and conditions are neither good nor evil but are empty
of necessary relationship. It is up to humankind to apply Recusion, not to the
natural order but to the relationships of the natural order. A cyclone is neither good nor evil. It's just
weather. As a cyclone approaches a small farmhouse it would not be appropriate
to Recuse the cyclone. That would be to lift the name of God on to emptiness
which would be preferentializing Good. Rather the name of God should be lifted
onto the relationship between the cyclone and the farmhouse. Then you watch to
see what happens. The cyclone might go around the farmhouse, or it might carry
it and its two inhabitants away and drop it on a wicked witch. 4 The day of rest is Saturday, the seventh
day, not a seventh day. As far as the relationship to Yellow, rest
necessarily involves rest. 5 Honoring authority necessarily involves
authority, rulership - Blue. 6 Murder necessarily involves death - Red. 7 Adultery necessarily involves sex - Green. 8 Theft necessarily involves ownership - Orange. 9 False witness is double barreled. Falseness
necessarily involves reversal. Witness necessarily involves reflection -
Purple. 10 Coveting is the central aspect of what all of
these injunctions have in common. Coveting is preferentializing good. Center -
Clear. As the Jewish Ebionites see it, as a people who keep the
613 injunctions, they are a people who are Recusive to the world in general.
And thus bring out both the best and the worst of other people. They see the function of individual humans is to
tend the world. To nurture it by being Recusive to it. And the function of the
Jews is to nurture humanity by being Recusive to it. And the function of the
Nazirites of the Jews is to be Recusive to the rest of the Jews. And the
function of the Messiah (yet to come) is to be Recusive to all Humanity. |
