Ozma of Oz
part 3

Ozma appears to be in the order of the Rainbow, same like Wizard. Purple Blue Green Yellow Orange Red

Yellow  Limits Barriers Imprisonment  Off to free the prisoners. Not stopped by the barriers of the chasm or the Giant with the hammer. Dorothy pleads politely and they are admitted.

Orange  Control Ownership Categories Names   Slaves not prisoners. Eleven guesses to identify the Evians. Purple for Ev and Green for Oz. Gold for the Scarecrow and Tiktok and Gray for Dorothy. Apparently previous to owning the royal family of Ev, the Nome king had ornaments in no more than six of the ten colors. Dorothy saves herself and Evring but without her companion Billina, Ozma and Oz would have required further interference.

Red  Conflict  The sawhorse kicks the Nome king and is immune to the Magic Belt. The Scarecrow blinds the king with eggs. Billina tells Dorothy to get the Belt and the Belt obeys Dorothy. The king was going to transform them all into Scorpions which is a sign of the Zodiac which corresponds to Red Mars. The Scarecrow suggests transforming the king into a goose egg. Not only transformed to poison but figuratively to Nothing. And what would the king be when the egg hatches? The mind shudders. Dorothy changes Nomes to eggs, opens barriers and it's all over with except the rejoicing and the Red Resolution of Conflict.

((  From Ev they cross the desert to Munchkin land, are entertained at the palace of the King of the Munchkins, travel the Yellow Brick Road, meet Jinjur who married a man who owns nine cows, are ferried over the river and reach the Emerald City. Dorothy is made a princess of Oz. Omby Amby, one of the three privates of the royal army is promoted and promised money from the treasury.  Dorothy and Ozma travel to Glinda in a Green and Pink Phaeton drawn by the Sawhorse.

The cows are owned and money is still in use.

A Phaeton is a carriage which is the same as a Chariot except that it is lighter yet, the wheels are larger and it is drawn by one horse. It is an all terrain vehicle equivalent to a Jeep or Landrover and quite unstable. It is the raciest carriage that a Victorian female could drive with propriety. Victorian males could drive a Gig which is a one horse two person cart with two big wheels and only second in raciness to a Curricle which is the same thing with two horses. Evidence here that Ozma has transitioned mentally as well as physically, because Tip would surely have driven a Gig. Yeehah! ))
