Langwidere exerts her right of rulership (the ruler can do no wrong) and demands Dorothy's head. Dorothy declines the honor.

((  Getting soup or beverage out of a dinner pail is quite a trick. The top is in what may be the worst possible shape for a bottle. If it's full, only the least bit of tippance will cause the liquid to flow, which is almost inevitably a spill unless you tip it fast, in which case you have an air bubble in the upward part which will cause it to gush. It takes some practice. Dinner pails are more of a city, factory kind of thing rather than a hired hand, country thing so I wonder how well Dorothy did.

It appears as if Ev is on the East of a big island. As Dorothy looks to the East she sees the forest, sands and ocean. To the West a desert and to the North, mountains. If this is the island of Breasail, it is round. Round with a square Oz in the middle. Bit of a map below. That looks remarkably like a Theosophic Philosopher's Table. A kind of geocentric Orrery. More about that if it seems called for. Oh, and Breasail has been variously translated as "Mighty", "Fortunate" and "Princely" among others. These are derived meanings. The base word means "Enlarge". So Breasail means "Enlarged", or in other words "Really Big Island"  ))
