Jewish Ebionites may take the Nazirite oath for a specific period of time, with the assistance of permanent Nazirites. That disallows them from cutting their hair or consuming or using anything that comes off of any kind of vine. Grapes, raisins, wine, watermelon, beans etc may not be consumed during the oath period. Beer and whiskey are alright except during seventh years. The temporary Nazirite is considered to be a temporary Paragnostic of the Red. That is, one who knows what is true without knowing why it is true. One who is temporarily Recursive. Thus they act as temporary Healers, Judges and Defenders. Nazirite is their word for Paragnostic.
